Supplier Quality Specialist

Role overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our procurement team in a fast-paced and dynamic company. This position is based in Windhoek, Namibia. You will monitor our suppliers and ensure they meet the required quality standards. With a pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset, you will drive quality improvements and support our continued growth. If you have solid experience in quality assurance and quality control in electronics and PCBA manufacturing, a good understanding of ISO 9001:2015, and are eager to join an ambitious team, we would love to hear from you.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supplier quality assurance and control (including statistical process control SPC)
• Supporting supplier audits (mostly contract manufacturers/EMS)
• Nonconformity and CAPA handling
• Continuous improvements of our products and processes (Lean Six Sigma, DfX, etc.)
• Support in customer audits and quality questionnaire answering
• Support improving our QMS

Skills

• 2 years experience as a Quality Engineer
• Deep electronics background (ideally coming from hardware development)
• Good electronic manufacturing process knowledge (PCB manufacturing and assembly processes (e.g. IPC-A-610)
• Insight in non-destructive and destructive electronics manufacturing analysis procedures
• Very pragmatic yet systematic approach to reach the quality objectives
• Strong analytical skills
• Good understanding of ISO9001:2015
• Happy to use newer tools and technologies, e.g. Jira/Confluence, AI
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English - level C1
• Nice to have: German level B2+
