We are looking for an MEP Engineer to join our MEP team on our project in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a full-time, in-person position.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with electrical and mechanical equipment vendors, design engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
- Purchase electrical and mechanical equipment and coordinate submittals.
- Assist with electrical and mechanical cost estimates and drawing coordination.
- Support construction of large-scale mission critical facilities (e.g., data centers) and office buildings.
- Develop project scopes and schedules, coordinate change orders and RFIs, and manage project budgets and cost control.
- Supervise subcontractors and vendors, maintaining professional relationships with owners’ representatives, architects, engineers, and clients.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems.
- Extensive experience managing construction of data centers and complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects.
- Experience developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, and managing project budgets and cost control.
- Strong ability to manage relationships with owners’ representatives, architects, engineers, and clients, while supervising subcontractors and vendors.
