What you'll be doing

The Direct Marketing Campaigns team delivers personalized, one-to-one direct marketing communications to CIBC clients at scale, supporting our goal to be the #1 bank in client experience. In this role, you’ll support Simplii Marketing across a suite of products, providing expertise in marketing analytics and direct marketing campaign support. As a Consultant, Marketing Analytics, you'll lead the end-to-end campaign delivery process, including discovery sessions, solution requirements documentation, data assessments, campaign development in Databricks and SQL, and quality assurance. You'll focus on operational excellence and ensure communications are relevant to targeted client audiences. Using multiple direct-to-client engagement channels, you'll reach the right audiences and apply insights from previous campaigns to inform future strategies and targeting. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in campaign design and execution.

You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 3-4 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How you'll succeed

  • Relationship management – Build and manage strong relationships with internal partners, leveraging your influencing skills to gain commitment and support throughout the discovery and requirements process.

  • Effective communication – Lead group discovery sessions with multiple stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication across teams.

  • Project management – Guide the team through defined processes to complete tasks efficiently, focusing on achieving the right outcomes for each campaign.

  • Insights and learnings – Analyze insights and apply them to business partner campaigns and plans, providing strategic recommendations to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Who you are

  • You bring 2 to 3 years of work experience using SQL and Databricks, with a solid understanding of SQL coding, Datalogic, and relational databases such as operations data stores. Experience with Python is ideal, and knowledge of SAS is a nice-to-have.

  • You have strong business acumen. You have 2 to 3 years of experience building business relationships, understanding business terms, and demonstrating the ability to connect technical solutions to business needs.

  • You’re a self-starter. You take initiative, work independently, lead and proactively identify opportunities to add value.

  • You’re curious and logical. You have a passion for understanding data and uncovering relationships within it.

  • You put our clients first. You engage with purpose to find the right solutions and go the extra mile because it’s the right thing to do.
