The Technology Implementation Lead delivers new technological solutions to meet business needs within a specified scope while aligned to enterprise goals. The Technology Implementation Lead operates across a range of complexity and scope from moderate initiatives to strategic programs. This person plays a critical role in translating business strategy into scalable technical solutions and focuses on building cloud first data solutions, data governance, and data foundations with leading best practices.
This position is ideal for a strong communicator who excels in cross-functional environments and can clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will prepare and deliver executive-ready presentations, status updates, and recommendations that guide strategic decision-making.
The candidate must be able to work within the Eastern or Central Standard Time zones.

The Technology Implementation Lead gathers and documents business system and functional requirements, influences system design to optimize support, and ensures solutions meet the business objectives and requirements. Complete and/or coordinate implementation of design and requirements, testing, operational readiness, and transition to the appropriate production support team. Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.

Research and incorporate industry-leading cloud practices related to Cloud data solutions, data governance and data foundations (Reference Data Management, Metadata, Data Quality)

Execute rapid prototyping to validate complex business requirements. You will work with IT to get requirements accurately implemented. Build UAT testing and post-production validation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Analytics, Business Analytics, Strategic Finance or a related technical field
  • 5 or more years of total experience in financial systems or data solutions
  • 2 or more years of experience in cloud technologies
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle, Waterfall, and Agile Development Methodologies
  • Experience in IT business analysis, including artifacts development
  • Experience problem solving and consultation within complex environments
  • Facilitate cross-functional teams' efforts
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
  • Data related certifications on any major cloud platform
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
  • Data related certifications on DataBricks
  • Intermediate to expert level SQL expertise

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$106,900 - $147,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
