Operations Coordinator

1 Hotel Copenhagen is centrally located at the intersection of the city’s vibrant Latin Quarter and its historic heart; it will feature 282 rooms including 30 suites. Connected with the natural world in the property’s urban garden complete an on-site bee hotel, or embark on an adventure, exploring Copenhagen's rich tapestry of parks and museums on bike.   

You have hands-on experience working as a Operations Coordinator or multi-line telephone systems and are confident managing both internal and external communications. You're used to handling a steady stream of calls, transferring them to the right department, taking accurate messages, and providing helpful information when needed. You’re also familiar with supporting administrative tasks, including making and updating reservations, answering guest inquiries, and managing KYC messages or alerts.  

About you… 

• Proven experience in managing calls from in-house guests and ensuring they’re connected to the right department. 

• Managing external calls, providing information, or transferring them as needed. 

• Handling reservation requests over the phone and updating records accordingly. 

• Checking and replying to emails in a clear and timely manner. 

• Taking accurate phone messages and making sure they reach the right person. 

• Using internal tools to send announcements or alerts. 

• Supporting the front desk or reception team when needed. 

• Assisting with general admin tasks to help keep communication running smoothly. 

• Staying calm, polite, and professional at all times, even during busy periods. 

• Multilingual abilities are a plus for assisting a diverse range of callers. 

• Strong English communication skills are a must, both written and verbal.

• Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
