About the role
Key Responsibilities
Tire Quality Management
- You implement and continuously improve pre-dispatch inspection (PDI) checks to ensure tire quality meets defined standards.
- You work to reduce OE rejections in line with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals.
- You handle customer concerns related to tires and tubes, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
- You conduct regular customer visits and submit CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for OE complaints.
Tube Quality Oversight
- You address tube-related concerns with vendors and support size additions as needed.
- You monitor tube inspection data and follow up with vendors for CAPA related to customer complaints.
- You collaborate with vendors to maintain quality consistency and drive improvements.
Pre-Dispatch Inspection Oversight
- You supervise the PDI team to ensure thorough inspections based on defined checklists and procedures.
- You verify that inspections cover visual appearance, weight, style, and color specifications.
- You ensure all tires meet quality and safety standards before shipment.
Defect Management & Resolution
- You identify and document defects during inspection and coordinate with production or SCM teams for resolution.
- You ensure all necessary inspections and repairs are completed before dispatch.
- You conduct final checks to confirm readiness for shipment.
Customer Coordination
- You engage with customers to understand their requirements and expectations.
- You manage issue resolution and maintain strong customer relationships.
Documentation & Reporting
- You maintain accurate records of all inspections and PDIs.
- You generate detailed reports highlighting trends and recurring issues.
- You share quality concerns with technical teams and collaborate on corrective actions.
Experience Required:
- 4–6 years in quality assurance, preferably in tire and tube manufacturing or automotive components
