Role Overview
The solution team is seeking a Digital Healthcare System Application Engineer with strong system-level expertise to support the growth of the Digital Healthcare (DHC) business in China and APGC.
The role focuses on enabling ADI’s growth across key healthcare application areas including surgical systems, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), life science instrumentation, and biosensing platforms.
This position is responsible for driving system-level solutions, solving complex customer challenges, and enabling design wins by leveraging technologies across multiple ADI product groups. The engineer will work closely with customers and internal teams (DHC BU and Sales/FAEs) to support key customers and key projects, define solutions and new products and strengthen ADI’s competitive position in the healthcare market.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide system-level application support for surgical, IVD, life science, and biosensor applications
- Support creation and optimization of system architectures, block diagrams, and reference designs for healthcare applications
- Support customer engagements from early concept through design-in, development, and production, identify customer pain points and application challenges, work closely with cross-functional teams (DHC BU and Sales/FAEs) to enable design win.
- Analyze technical trend and competitor’s solutions and generate benchmark data and technical insights to position ADI technologies
- Develop technical collateral including Application notes/Reference designs/Training materials and provide technical training for FAE/Sales teams
Required Profile
- Master’s degree in EE, Biomedical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in application, system, or hardware design
- Strong technical background in sensors, analog/mixed-signal design and signal chain, power management/processor/software capabilities is a plus
- Experience in healthcare systems (surgical, IVD, instrumentation, biosensors) preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-facing experience
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Travel
- Domestic and international travel required (approximately 30%)
