Job Description:
This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Responsible for steering performance and mitigating risks by monitoring Time, Cost, and Quality (TCQ) trends and managing the project risk register
- Deliver analytical reporting and presentations to leadership to support strategic, data-driven decision-making
- Ensure Business Management Systems alignment, drive "Make-or-Buy" strategies, and maintain standardized methodologies across the organization
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycles, managing baseline setup, budget allocation, and delivery execution
- Develop and manage core project controls, including the project plan, schedule, communication plan, and documentation.
- Monitoring the status of: Activities, milestones, interdependencies and critical path, Work progress, Resources availability, Action status
- Track real-time project status, monitoring milestones, interdependencies, critical paths, and resource availability
- Identify deviations from the project baseline and proactively execute preventive or corrective actions
Required qualifications
The work task requires knowledge and skills, which are usually provided by a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Engineering, a standard period of study of more than 4 years with a degree and related subject-specific additional qualification or completed vocational training with a corresponding, particularly extensive, subject-specific additional qualification.
The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways.
Desired skills and competences
- Knowledge and experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility and working experience as an Project Manager or a similar role
- A strong, demonstrable track record in Project and Business Management within a corporate environment
- Deploying Project Management processes, methods and tools, and easing best PM practices sharing within the PM community
- Proven ability to multi-task and successfully deliver a high volume of concurrent projects
- Risks register monitoring and mitigation actions implementations
- Proactive, accurate and fully transparent schedule plan, delivering baseline and Aviation / Aerospace sector
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with a focus on optimizing team workflows and driving collective efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Language skills: English fluent, German knowledge would be a plus
- Willingness to travel domestically and abroad

You will be working at Airbus’s largest production site for civil aircraft in Hamburg. Its location on the southern bank of the Elbe offers the option of commuting by ferry. In your free time, experience the unique atmosphere of Hamburg, where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets maritime heritage.
Your actual place of work will be Bremen. You will be working at Airbus' second-largest production site in Germany, a center of excellence for wing integration and space systems situated in Bremen.
