Job Description

Join Takeda in a pivotal role at the intersection of commercial strategy, patient access, government engagement and supply continuity. Reporting to the Country Head, Oceania, you will lead engagement with the National Blood Authority (NBA) and key healthcare stakeholders to support procurement, funding, patient access and portfolio performance across our immunoglobulin portfolio.

This is a highly visible, cross-functional role where you'll influence commercial decisions, coordinate supply and allocation planning, lead tender activities and help ensure patients have reliable access to essential therapies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial planning and performance management for assigned brands.
  • Drive NBA tender readiness, submission, contract implementation and procurement activities.
  • Partner with government and healthcare stakeholders to support funding and patient access initiatives.
  • Coordinate product allocation and supply continuity, balancing patient needs, contractual commitments and available supply.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and external stakeholders.
  • Support contract governance, KPI delivery and risk management.
  • Translate market, customer and supply insights into actionable business recommendations.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology or related industries.
  • Background in commercial strategy, key account management, market access, sales or business operations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across internal and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with government procurement, tender management, reimbursement, funding or contracting.
  • Knowledge of Australian healthcare funding and market access environments.
  • Degree in Business, Healthcare, Science, Marketing or a related discipline.
