This position will follow our hybrid work model; we expect the selected candidate to work 2-3 days a week at our corporate office in Saint Petersburg, FL.

As a PM/BA (Project Manager/Business Analyst) in the HR Transformation team, you will work with your stakeholders to understand issues they would like resolved or processes they want improved with the use of technology. This role will lead, plan and manage business transformation programs for the Workday HCM and Security modules, including the overall change strategy, training and adoption. You will lead the technical design, test the developed solution, oversee user acceptance testing, and ensure successful deployment of the solution.

Key to success in this role is the ability to lead cross-functional teams, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and serve as a subject matter expert in HR systems and project management.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and lead the governance and delivery of a program or group of significant projects within a function.

  • Acts as the organization’s authority and established expert to develop solutions based on an understanding of the business environment and objectives. Applies a change mindset to the planning, execution and monitoring of business activities.

  • Lead the planning and delivery of complex, wide-ranging information gathering, analysis, and stakeholder consultation activities and specify, negotiate, and agree on program and project deliverables, ensuring integration across the client function and HR as a whole.

  • With client groups and senior HR leadership, lead a governance structure that ensures new requests are approved, prioritized, and budgeted.

  • Ensure that risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints are managed appropriately. Where risks or issues threaten delivery of the project, develop and agree on recovery plans.

  • Act as subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, and operational management for the team and beyond in the function. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging technologies, external regulation, and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

  • Set direction for large project and program teams; define the overall vision and communicate the outcomes needed along with appropriate guidance to achieve the outcome.

  • Manage work estimation and planning of activities, including team resourcing.

  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies and plans to ensure that each stakeholder has an appropriate share of voice and that their needs and concerns are identified and met.

  • Plans, identifies, monitors, analyzes, and prioritizes risks (threats and opportunities), creates response plans, and manages the risk if it occurs.

  • Orients work in a workflow to plan, organize, and execute the steps it takes to achieve higher efficiencies.

  • Estimates each of the components of a project, including costs, activity durations, resource needs, risks, stakeholders, etc. across the life of the project.

  • Identifies, acquires, and manages the resources for the project.

  • Works at an advanced level to identify, sequence, and resource project schedules for timely completion.

  • Manages ambiguity and operates effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.

  • Demonstrates good judgement and discretion when dealing with highly sensitive data.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 to 10 years in HR Product Management / HR

  • Managerial Experience – 2+ years preferred

  • Experience with Workday required

  • Configuration experience with HCM and Security functions strongly desired

  • HR systems administration experience required
