Reporting to the General Manager, the Commercial Excellence Manager is responsible for all sales & service enablement commercial activities which includes Field Targeting & Incentive process, Pricing management process, Pipeline quality & health process, Data management , Business insights & analytics.
This position is part of the India Commercial Organization and will be located in Bangalore and will be on Hybrid work model.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- This role is responsible for all sales & service enablement commercial activities which includes Field Targeting & Incentive process, Pricing management process, Pipeline quality & health process, Data management , Business insights & analytics
- Ensure the effective management of process change management, integrity of data, reporting and education
- Works with commercial team on commercial projects on pricing process improvement & driving price realization. Provides margin analytics and insights
- Synthesize findings, develop and discuss recommendations with commercial teams
- Maintains all commercial team target quota and drives Incentive calculation & distribution process.
- Build capabilities within the sales & service organization through leading workshops, trainings and coaching
- Support the managers on forecasting process through data analytics and dashboard specific to territory & zones
- Act as a change agent to drive business improvement within the commercial organization
- Drive Implementation of any APAC or Global directive related to Pipeline management, Pricing, Sales action related to data and insights
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Assist with the development, drive adoption of metrics, analytics and will interface with employees at various levels of the commercial organization, other functional areas and senior management
- Drive monthly Booking & Shipping process with teams and leading up to India level forecast
- Manage & drive performance metrics across functions and across levels to ensure timely updation.
- Ensure all business related data is kept handy and updated for all the daily management & other business meetings
- Interface with regional business management, marketing, customer service for driving meetings productively
- Play a key role in driving process & targets related to funnel & pricing
- Teamwork and Collaboration – Addresses and resolves conflict by creating an atmosphere of openness and trust
- Subject matter expert in the area of sales and service back office processes with potential to contribute to the whole value chain
- Challenge during strategic and profitability account reviews with zonal teams.
- Drive monthly Booking & Shipping process with teams and leading up to India level forecast
- Ensure timely calculation & distribution of incentives to sales & service team
- Develop & drive new recognition programs and actions
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc or BCom or BA
- Post Graduation in Business Management is an advantage
TRAVEL (REQUIRED ESTIMATED % OF TIME) : 70-80% and should be open for relocation based on business requirements.
REQUIRED EXPEREINCE
- Experience of 8 – 15 years in Sales enablement, Sales analytics of Commercial excellence area.
- Experience in handling funnel management, Pricing process , Target setting, KPI managemnet
- Sales enablement experience with applying knowledge, tools like SFDC, Power BI
