Plant Custodian

Position Summary: 
As the Plant Custodian, you will be responsible for the daily cleanliness of the facility, which includes the production and office areas.  

This is a Part-Time, Non-Benefits Eligible Position

Pay is $19.05 per hour, plus a 5% shift differential for second and third shift

Essential Job Functions:
• Follow all defined/implied safety policies, procedures, & applicable Job Safety Analyses. Be an active participant in the Plant’s efforts to achieve and maintain zero injuries & near misses.
• Adhere to the established Good Manufacturing & sanitation principles.
• Abide by the plant’s work rules policies and procedures.
• Maintain a neat and orderly workstation.
• Participate in & support in the Plant’s Continuous Improvement efforts.
• Perform all other custodial duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
• Ability to effectively communicate in English and follow written instructions
• Possess the skills to operate and proficiently use custodial tools

• Ability to be Forklift Certified

Experience/Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 3 years of custodial experience in a manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work inside and outside of manufacturing facility
