Role and Responsibilities
Job Description / Scope of work:
- Conduct testing for Samsung Wallet and digital wallet applications, ensuring overall functionality and performance meet requirements.
- Execute functional testing based on defined test cases for mobile wallet applications on both smartphones and Watch
- Perform backward compatibility testing to ensure new wallet application versions function correctly with OS version and devices
- Conduct end-to-end testing of wallet features, including user flows such as card enrolment, payment transactions and authentication.
- Perform transit card testing (e.g. Rabbit Card, MRT/Subway, Bus system), including real-life usage scenarios such as tap-and-go and balance validation.
- Checking application flow as compare with design guide
- Checking the different supported wallet features (boarding pass, digital ID, etc)
- Record the fault or issues encountered during testing
- Log capturing and perform basic debugging analysis to differentiate between phone and application/wallet issues
- Work closely with Headquarter and R&D to solve problems encountered during the testing. Providing R&D support and maintenance for pre and post product launch, including reproduction and diagnosis of problem
- Compiling of Test result and submission for approval
- Update test procedure/ Test cases to local specific payment feature
- Performs other duties as assigned by management /direct supervisor
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications / Key Skills Required:
- Fresh Graduate/Bachelor's degree in related technical field (Telecommunication/Computer/ Electronics Engineering) or fresh graduates are welcome.
- Basic understanding of mobile applications and Android usage.
- Strong attention in details and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills(Verbal and written)
- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of software testing or QA is a plus.
- Interest in digital wallet, mobile applications, or fintech is an advantage
