The Role:

Blue Owl is seeking an Analyst to join the Direct Lending investment team. Our Direct Lending platform currently has over $80Bn of AUM and comprises a team of seasoned investment professionals with significant and diverse experience from some of the world’s leading investment firms and financial institutions.

We seek to provide our investors with attractive risk-adjusted returns by originating, executing, and managing investments, including senior secured, subordinated, or mezzanine loans and equity-related instruments. The team works with borrowers across industries and sectors with a focus on serving as the capital partner of choice for leading private companies. Our relationship-oriented approach to investing provides companies with sizeable commitments to facilitate transactions and support their growth needs with certainty, speed, and transparency throughout the entire investment process.

Qualifications:

1 year of experience in investment adjacent roles such as corporate finance/FP&A, commercial bank credit analysis, transaction advisory services or middle office functions within asset management (the role is not designed for candidates with investment banking or direct investing experience)
Strong accounting and corporate finance knowledge, and financial modeling aptitude (required)
Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to self-direct, analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments
Strong interest in investing
Team player with enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity to learn more

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $100,000 to $135,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
