ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Welcomes all tables with a warm and friendly greeting.
- Takes accurate food orders.
- Serves food and beverages in multiple restaurant venues with differing styles of service.
- Is knowledgeable about food and beverage offerings and can provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Promptly and accurately closes checks.
- Always maintains a neat and orderly appearance according to established standards.
- Completes related tasks and side work as assigned.
- Demonstrates a positive, respectful, and professional team approach and communicates effectively with residents, peers, and managers.
- Consistently communicates resident and guests concerns to supervisors and/or management.
- Assists in maintaining and achieving departmental sanitation standards and goals.
- Identifies areas for improvement, proposes possible solutions, and participates in data collection and process changes as part of the Quality Assurance Process Improvement process
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required:

Excellent interaction and communication skills.

Demonstrates completion of assigned duties through effective teamwork.

Strong hospitality service skills and a passion for interacting with people.

English language proficiency
Preferred:
-
1 year or more of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant.

Prior service experience in dining environment.

Level 4 LobsterInk Certification.

2 or more years of server experience in an upscale restaurant.

Event server knowledge and experience.
-
Foundational level of wine knowledge.
