What you’ll be doing…
The Associate Director Network Sourcing will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Category Strategy, leading a team of Category Sourcing Experts. This dynamic professional designs and executes sourcing strategies in a global environment while managing supplier relationships, risk, and supply base performance. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, the role drives end-to-end category strategies, negotiation planning, and personnel management to solve complex business problems and generate ongoing savings roadmaps.
Managing a team of Category Sourcing Experts and actively managing multiple highly visible, time-sensitive activities.
Driving all aspects of complex strategic sourcing processes, category strategy, performance effectiveness, and value generation.
Building collaborative relationships with internal business partners and suppliers to understand priorities and manage expectations.
Negotiating and completing key strategic deals while partnering with contract management and legal teams as a trusted advisor.
Executing supplier relationship management activities for assigned suppliers to consolidate products, mitigate risk, and leverage market dynamics.
Developing category savings roadmaps to track savings, maximize ROI, and attain key performance indicators.
Assessing employee performance, holding team members accountable, and managing personnel-related activities such as recruitment, compensation planning, and personal development.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or related experience.
Experience in interpersonal and stakeholder management.
Experience in team leadership.
Experience in sourcing.
Experience in driving change and transformation.
Even better if you have:
Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing processes, policies, and procedures.
Ability to interface with all levels of management to ensure the sourcing process is completed efficiently.
Experience leading various cross-functional teams to develop requirements and reach consensus on business deals.
Experience performing analyses of financial and business data related to sourcing operations.
Proficiency in drafting customized development plans to enhance the value delivered to the company.
