Position Summary
The ASEAN Head of Marketing and Herbicide Lead is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sub-regional marketing excellence while leading the growth and performance of the herbicide’s portfolio across ASEAN.
This position combines category leadership with regional marketing oversight, ensuring the successful launch of new innovations and strengthening the company’s competitive position in the region.
This role requires a commercially driven leader who can shape marketing strategies, drive portfolio success, and align stakeholders across diverse ASEAN markets.

Key Responsibilities
ASEAN Marketing Leadership
Lead and execute ASEAN marketing strategies aligned with regional business priorities and growth objectives.
Develop and implement integrated marketing plans to drive growth, brand leadership, and market penetration.
Ensure consistency in brand positioning, messaging, and campaigns across ASEAN markets.
Establish standardized frameworks for product launches, demand generation, and portfolio marketing.
Collaborate with global marketing teams to localize strategies for regional relevance.
Oversee marketing budgets, agencies, and performance metrics to maximize return on investment.
Herbicides Portfolio Leadership
Lead the ASEAN herbicides portfolio strategy, including pricing, positioning, segmentation, and lifecycle management.
Drive commercialization and successful launches of new innovations across ASEAN markets.
Deliver revenue, market share, and profitability targets for the herbicides business.
Identify growth opportunities across key crops, segments, and geographies.
Develop data-driven go-to-market strategies tailored to country-specific needs.
Partner with country teams to ensure strong in-market execution and adoption.
Strategic Launch Excellence
Establish and embed best-in-class launch capabilities for crop protection innovations.
Translate technical product strengths into compelling value propositions for farmers and channel partners.
Drive demand generation through field demonstrations, channel programs, and digital engagement.
Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments.
Cross-Functional & Regional Leadership
Act as the strategic bridge between commercial, technical, regulatory, and supply chain teams.
Influence and align stakeholders across global, regional, and country organizations.
Enable and coach country teams to strengthen marketing and product management capabilities.
Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across ASEAN.
Requirements
Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Marketing, Business, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
15+ years of experience within agrochemicals, crop protection, or agriculture-related industries.
Strong expertise in herbicides, product management, and portfolio marketing.
Proven track record in leading successful product launches and commercialization initiatives.
Experience in regional or multi-country roles, preferably within ASEAN.
Demonstrated leadership experience in marketing or commercial functions.
