- Assist in operating all aspects of the Division ll intercollegiate football program at Winona State University within the guidelines, policies, rules and regulations of the University, NCAA and NSIC.
- Assist in the identification, evaluation, recruitment, and retention of quality student-athletes for the football program.
- Assist in mentoring and reporting academic success of student-athletes to ensure graduation of student-athletes.
- Assist in the training, monitoring, and evaluation of individual performance.
- Assist in the organization, planning and coaching of all practices and games.
- Assist with the scouting of opponents including the organization of film editing and using appropriate software programs.
- Assist with team game tape exchange.
- Fundraise through camps/clinics and other efforts as needed.
- Promote and support Winona State University and the Athletic Department’s program mission and goals.
- Represent Winona State University and the Athletic Department in a positive manner with a high degree of integrity and quality.
- Foster interest in Winona State University with all high school students and school personnel while recruiting for WSU and the football program.
- Instruct university courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs.
- Engage in research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field.
- Provide evidence of continuing professional development to enhance coaching abilities.
- Contribute to student growth and development.
- Provide service to the university and community including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community.
- Support Winona State University's mission to enhance the intellectual, social, cultural, and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach or Director of Athletics.
Salary Range: $50,065 - $86,316.00
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree at time of appointment.
- Minimum of (2) years of demonstrated success as a Offensive Line Coach
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualification
- Master’s degree or desire to obtain.
- NCAA Collegiate coaching experience.
- Knowledge of Midwest recruiting base.
- Knowledge of NCAA rules & regulations.
