Job Summary

Provides guidance and supervision to ensure the accomplishment of Site Logistics goals, including those related to budget and cost structure.

What You Will Do:

  • Adhering to requirements and procedures for safety regulations.
  • Making workflow decisions under the direction of management. Improving service levels and costs.
  • Supervising and motivating employees through effective coaching and training, clear communication of job expectations, and positive reinforcement of exemplary performance; maintaining a positive working environment.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily receiving, Storage & line feeding activity
  • Inventory Control: Maintain, audit, and secure accurate inventory records, implementing stock control systems (e.g., FIFO, LIFO).
  • Staff Leadership: Train, motivate, and supervise warehouse agency employees, managing schedules and performance on regular basis. Should be able to handle both shifts.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, including CQMS & compliance requirements. Also ensure regular equipment maintenance (e.g., forklifts / Reach Trucks). Manage 5s to maintain safe workplace.
  • Space Optimization: Ensure space is optimized properly with regular monitoring and workflow efficiency.
  • Audits & Process: Should be able to manage the process & Developing the solutions for new requirements.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Delivers helpful feedback that focuses on behaviours without offending the recipient.
• Listens to feedback without defensiveness and uses it for own communication effectiveness.
• Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work.
• Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.
• Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder.
• Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information.
• Helps to analyse risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution.
• Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems. RCCA and5 WHY’s.

Skill requirements

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in warehousing, logistics management, often with proven experience of managing teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (SAP WM & IM), and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint). AI knowledge would be added advantage.
  • Leadership: Strong team management, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Operational Skills: Knowledge of Maintaining forklifts and other material handling equipment’s
  • Education:  A bachelor’s degree in engineering is mandatory; any additional logistics or supply chain management qualification will be an added advantage.

  • Safety incident rate
