Job Description
True Classic is hiring a hands-on Production Coordinator to support the execution of production across True Classic’s global vendor base, helping ensure product is delivered on time, in full, and to company standards. This role is highly detail-oriented and execution-focused, responsible for coordinating timelines, tracking production progress, and supporting communication between internal teams and vendors. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
All of True Classic’s roles are global and omni-channel, leading designated areas of accountability across all product categories, countries, and sales and marketing channels. This role will have impact across DTC, retail, wholesale, marketplaces, and emerging channels, ensuring strategic alignment and executional rigor across the enterprise.
Areas of Accountability
Production Execution & Delivery
- Support the production lifecycle from PO issuance through final warehouse delivery
- Assist in PO issuance and ensure accuracy of order details, delivery timelines, and requirements
- Track production timelines and monitor WIP (work-in-progress) across all orders
- Review order status regularly and flag potential risks or delays to management
- Proactively communicate production delays or risks that may impact inventory availability to relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with Planning to troubleshoot issues, adjust priorities, and support updates to delivery timelines
- Support vendor on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery by monitoring order progress and vendor timelines
- Maintain production calendars, milestones, and execution tracking
- Review shipping documentation for accuracy and support on-time delivery
Vendor Communication
- Serve as a key point of contact between vendors and internal teams for production and delivery updates
- Support day-to-day communication with global factory partners
- Follow up with vendors on production status, timelines, and deliverables
- Help ensure alignment on production requirements and expectations
- Escalate issues or delays to the Production Manager or Director as needed
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors
Raw Materials Coordination
- Assist with placing and tracking raw material orders
- Partner with Planning and Merchandising to support pre-positioning of fabrics by style or program
- Follow up with vendors to ensure materials are ready in line with production timelines
- Track material usage and highlight any risks related to delays or excess
Production Tracking & Systems
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production data across systems
- Track WIP across all stages of production and ensure data accuracy
- Support reporting on production status, timelines, and key milestones
- Identify inconsistencies or gaps in tracking and escalate as needed
- Support ongoing process improvements in PO management, production tracking, and team workflows
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate cross functionally to support replenishment strategies and chase opportunities
- Assist in shifting priorities and supporting more agile production cycles
- Communicate updates on production status, risks, and delays to relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in apparel production, supply chain, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow up effectively with vendors and internal teams
- Familiarity with production processes, timelines, and supply chain fundamentals
- Experience working with PLM/ERP systems ( Sage, Netsuite, Centric preferred)
