Job Description
We’re rethinking homes for how people really live, and we’re looking for a Lead Specialist, People Systems and Analytics to join our People team to help shape the future of living — one thoughtful detail at a time.
This role is critical to how we scale globally. By building strong systems and data foundations that support international operations, you will enable the People team and the wider business to expand across markets efficiently without increasing complexity or headcount.
We are at the early stages of a global rollout of Rippling and are building a People function that is systems-led, data-driven, and scalable. This role will own the design, optimisation, and adoption of our People systems, with a focus on reducing manual work, improving data quality, and enabling the business to operate more efficiently.
This is not a traditional HR role. You will be expected to think in systems, challenge existing processes, and continuously improve how we operate.
What You Will Do
1. Own People Systems (with a focus on Rippling)
- Lead the implementation and optimisation of Rippling across regions
- Configure workflows, permissions, and integrations to support business needs
- Continuously improve system usage and ensure it delivers value beyond basic functionality
2. Drive Automation & Process Efficiency
- Identify manual, repetitive workflows across hiring, onboarding, payroll, and employee lifecycle
- Design and implement automation to streamline operations
- Reduce reliance on manual intervention across the People team
3. Build and Maintain Data Foundations
- Establish a clear source of truth for people data (headcount, cost, hiring, attrition)
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across systems
- Build dashboards and reports that are used by leadership to make decisions
4. Enable the Organisation
- Train HR, managers, and stakeholders to effectively use systems and self-serve where possible
- Create simple, practical documentation and guides
- Drive adoption and accountability across teams
What Good Looks Like (6–12 months)
- Core People workflows are automated and no longer reliant on manual intervention
- Rippling is fully adopted and used consistently across regions
- Clear, reliable dashboards are used in business and leadership discussions
- Reduced turnaround time for approvals, onboarding, and employee changes
- Fewer escalations to the People team for system or process issues
Who You Are
- Experience working with HR systems (e.g. Rippling, Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar), including configuration or implementation
- Strong understanding of data structures and how to translate business processes into systems
- Hands-on and comfortable building, testing, and improving workflows
- Naturally curious and proactive in identifying inefficiencies and solving them
- Able to work across stakeholders (HR, Finance, Retail, Operations) and drive alignment
- Clear and structured communicator, especially when explaining systems and data
Nice to Have
- Experience in global or multi-country implementations
- Exposure to payroll or integrations with finance systems (e.g. Netsuite, SAP)
- Experience in a fast-paced or scaling environment
