The DME department joined Overlake Medical Clinics in 2020 and has been growing ever since. We are located inside the Sleep Clinic and work together with the clinic staff and providers. We are seeking an individual with excellent customer service skills who can work independently and be a team player.

We handle the full revenue cycle. We work incoming referrals all the way to through posting the final payment on a patient’s account. Responsibilities include: maintaining and scanning records in patient accounts, discussing benefits and scheduling patient appointments for CPAP/BIPAP setups and mask fittings, adding equipment to orders to ensure proper charges are billed to insurance, contacting insurance companies to verify patient benefits, and obtaining authorizations for equipment when needed, go over billing guidelines with patients and provide their estimated out of pocket cost, cleaning and inspecting equipment that has been returned, assisting with patient walk-ins for scheduling and supply requests, communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing while helping patients and other clinical staff, adhering to and demonstrating Overlake’s principles and core values and other duties as needed.

Full-time / 40 hours per week

Monday - Friday / 8a - 5pm

Hybrid-Remote after 90 day training period/ Three (3) in office days per week are required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum two (2) years of administrative experience in a clinic/medical facility required.

  • Experience in medical insurance for payers or government programs is preferred.

  • Sleep-focused DME equipment experience preferred.

  • EPIC and/or Brightree system experience preferred.
