The University of Pennsylvania New Bolton Center is seeking a temporary Veterinary Technician. The large animal veterinary nurses play a vital role in the patient care team, providing exceptional care for equine patients as well as a variety of other farm animal species. We offer both inpatient and outpatient services in a busy, fast-paced environment where excellent patient care is our top priority. We welcome applicants of all experience levels.Job Description
This position is located at our beautiful New Bolton Center campus in Kennett Square, PA. This location is approximately 34 miles outside of Philadelphia, where there is no public transportation. You must have your own transportation.
Job Responsibilities
This temporary Veterinary Technician will be expected to perform basic patient care treatments and general husbandry duties as needed.
Targeted Pay Range: $18.50/hr to $25.00/hr
Qualifications
Veterinary Technician A: An Associate of Science and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Veterinary Technician B: An Associate of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician.
Veterinary Technician C: An Associate of Science and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be a Certified Veterinary Technician.
