About the Role
You will lead in all sales planning and execution of Harman Consumer brands and categories in the Club Channel. You will have direct responsibility for developing and managing the business relationship between Harman and its customers in this channel. Also, you will collaborate heavily with Marketing, Ops, Finance and eCommerce teams to maximize sales opportunities.
Your Team
You will report to the Director of Sales – Canada, Mass & Club.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for stated Sales Budget with Club retailers.
- Develop and maintain a healthy brand strategy in the Club channel that aligns with and complements the overall Consumer go-to-market strategy.
- Provide monthly sku level forecasts for Club retailers along with top line revenue projections.
- Plan, present and execute new product introductions including but not limited to, revenue & ROI, determining appropriate merchandising solutions, print and digital marketing and optimizing key drive periods.
- Conduct regularly scheduled business planning and reviews with Club retailers to ensure alignment to product and revenue forecasts and in constant contact via in-person & on-line meetings, phone calls and electronic communication.
- Responsible for soliciting and monitoring orders, submitting new item, promo and marketing agreements along with updating existing agreements, distributing sales and marketing communication.
- Work closely Sales Operations and Supply Chain team to ensure forecast alignment and timely customer order fulfillment.
- Solve unique problems such as product return reductions or vendor violations that have a broad impact on the business and requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop new solutions.
- Impact the direction and resource allocation of sales operations, supply chain, marketing and finance related to the club channel.
- Monitor and reporting relevant competitive activity in the club channel.
- Complete other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent business experience
- 5 years of sales experience, preferably in Consumer Electronics Industry
- Excellent customer service and presentation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Well organized, self-starter with ability to prioritize
What is Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Consumer Audio, Consumer Electronics, Club Channel & similar retailers are all desirable
What Makes You Eligible
- Be willing to travel up to 60%, domestic travel
- Be willing to work in a home office (preferably in Seattle, Bentonville or within regional proximity)
- Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
