About the role
POSITION SUMMARY:
Manages the interface, bidding, sales, and follow-up of fleet accounts. Supports the efforts of the new-vehicle department operations as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains contact with federal, state, and/or local government agencies and utilities to secure fleet business, actively utilizing the bidding process.
Solicits commercial fleet accounts.
Ensures quality deliveries of all fleet sales.
Acts as source for national and local courtesy deliveries (supplying specifications as needed for orders).
Provides out-of-stock service for fleet accounts and local leasing companies in conjunction with New Vehicle Sales Manager.
Supplies New Vehicle Sales Manager with monthly forecasts of fleet car and truck deliveries.
Follows up on dealership payment for delivered fleet, lease company, and commercial account vehicles routinely.
Maintains professional appearance.
Attends Manager’s meetings as requested.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Inventory Control Software, internet, Microsoft Office Products
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
travel to different sites. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, squat, twisting upper body, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job the employee will move throughout the dealership. Will be exposed to outside weather conditions. May drive to different locations. The noise level in the environment may be loud.
