We’re looking for a process-minded, tech-savvy Senior Accountant who’s energized by solving complex challenges, improving systems, and driving automation at scale.
In this role, you’ll blend your accounting expertise with your passion for process optimization, partnering across Global Controllership, IT, and Finance Transformation to streamline workflows, strengthen governance, and elevate the accuracy and efficiency of our global Capex reporting. Responsibilities
Review and assess nonstandard transactions throughout the month, determining appropriate accounting treatment in accordance with US GAAP and applicable local GAAP.
Serve as the subject matter expert and collaborate closely with cross-functional business teams by providing guidance on fixed assets, internally developed software, asset retirement obligations, impairments, internal labor capitalization, and other areas requiring significant judgment.
Communicate Capex-related updates and issues promptly to internal stakeholders and business partners to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
Support the PR/PO approval process, ensuring expenditures align with policy and proper accounting classification.
Ensure Capex accounting policies remain updated and compliant with US GAAP with proper consultation with the Technical Accounting team
Participate in onetime transactions and strategic initiatives, including M&A activities, impairment analyses, asset useful life studies, asset retirement obligation assessments, system implementations, and other ad-hoc projects
Support internal and external audits by preparing required schedules, reconciliations, and analysis, and by coordinating effectively with auditors during the Capex audit process
Qualifications
3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate, public accounting, or hybrid environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification (preferred but not required)
Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts
Big 4 Public Accounting experience is preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in Oracle, MS Excel, and reporting tools
Experience in process improvement, audit liaison, and cross-functional collaboration
High attention to detail, integrity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 80,000 - 120,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 73,000 - 109,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
