About the Role
In this role, you’ll partner closely with Sales to drive new business and expand existing accounts by showcasing the value of Veeam’s portfolio to end customers, Cloud and Hosting Providers. You’ll lead technical discovery, deliver compelling remote and on-site demos, run Proof of Concepts, and provide hands-on pre-sales support throughout the evaluation cycle. You’ll also build strong relationships with customers and partners, contribute to marketing events, and develop solution proposals (BOMs, RFPs/RFQs) backed by technical compliance and competitive insights.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the sales team to secure and expand business with new and existing end-user customers, Cloud, and Hosting Providers.
- Conduct web-based and on-site demonstrations of the Veeam product portfolio, providing training, enablement, and participating in joint meetings.
- Offer pre-sales support and on-site assistance to customers during their evaluation of Veeam software.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and strategic alliance partners in coordination with sales colleagues.
- Contribute to and participate in Veeam marketing events.
- Conduct Product Proof of Concepts (POCs) for customers.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (B.O.M), RFPs/RFQs based on customer needs.
- Demonstrate new technologies and provide training to internal staff and customers.
- Independently identify and qualify business opportunities.
- Provide technical compliance and competitive analysis of products within the solution.
- Coordinate presales efforts with customers, working with Veeam Solution Architects, System Integrators, and Professional Services figures.
What You’ll Bring
- Ability to engage in business conversations with relevant stakeholders, including C-Level executives.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as System Engineer or other technical position.
- Willingness to advise customers on their future business strategy and ensure a positive customer experience on assigned accounts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish.
- Ability to present to groups, both remotely and in-person.
- Hands-on experience in Hypervisors and Cloud environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across Poland.
- Knowledge in VMware, Nutanix AHV, RedHat and Microsoft virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and AWS; ability to discuss and position Cloud technologies.
- Strong customer engagement skills, including requirements gathering and assessing existing infrastructure to shape the right solution.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them in customer-facing scenarios.
Bonus Skills
- VMCE certification is beneficial; employees can obtain VMCE and VMCA after starting the job.
- Knowledge in Kubernetes technologies platforms.
- Knowledge in DBs (Oracle, SQL, DB2, SAP).
- Understanding and interest in AI, Data Security Posture Management, LLMs, etc
- Strong presentation skills are an advantage.
