Job Responsibilities:
Strategic
- Formulation of regional growth strategies
- New business development
- Planning and driving initiatives to enhance governance and platform capabilities
- Leading and executing regional projects
Financial
- To ensure the Bank’s stable and sustainable operations through budget management with regard to systems and facilities in APAC branches
People
- Contribute to the engagement & cooperation with POA member and all stakeholders
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to ensure alignment and mutual understanding of regional objectives
Other/ Control
- Adherence to Laws and Rules
Job Requirements:
- Minimum JLPT N1 Certification (or equivalent business-level Japanese proficiency) to communicate effectively with stakeholders of various divisions in Tokyo Head Office, as the role requires interaction with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
- Minimum 7 years experience in the banking industry, including at least 5 years in corporate banking and/or strategic business planning.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree qualified
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements in APAC
- Proven track record in new business development and regional project leadership
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and ensure stable, sustainable operations of banking systems and facilities
- Results-oriented, with a track record of leading and executing regional projects to successful completion
- Strong organizational and project management skills
