Hiring Range: $74,957.85 - $97,445.21 Annually.
- Project Management and Systems Expertise: Develops and implements best in class project management standards and works adeptly across divisions, cross-functional teams, and stakeholder groups to plan, organize, lead and control deliverables within scope, budget and timeliness. Recommends, develops, implements and evaluates project management and assessment tools and processes. Manages system-wide projects and initiatives; consults with project teams, facilitates project planning, evaluation and reporting, and maintains system-wide project management portfolio. Understands and integrates change management principles into project management initiatives, recommends improvements to project management processes, and manages special projects as assigned. Ensures strategic alignment of performance measures and coaches the organization on the utilization of project management to support mission, vision, values and strategic priorities. Consults with employees to explore research and analysis when planning new projects or evaluating existing ones. Uses and continually develops leadership skills and participate in continuous professional development.
- Data Management and Analysis: Leads the data team to develop and implement a strategic data and analytics framework to support evidence-based decision making and strategic planning. Ensures data integration and compliance with relevant rules and guidelines. Maintains relationships with data partners, oversees the implementation and management of analytics tools, solutions and vendors. Maintains efficiencies in systems and processes and works collaboratively to build capacity in data warehousing and management. Develops and manages a data team, oversees data collection, verification, integration and reporting.
- Management/Supervision: Supervises employees in the areas of project management, research, data, and analytics. Administers and makes recommendations for routine personnel matters affecting direct reports including recruitment, orientation, training, setting performance goals, assigning and reviewing work, scheduling work time, approving leave, appraising and disciplining and submitting records and documentation as required by library and Jefferson County Policy. Conducts regular staff meetings with subordinate staff and provides technical guidance and advice to ensure conformity with established policies, rules and regulations. Recommends corrective actions when necessary. Participates on the management team. Leads project and team meetings as needed.
- Administration: Works independently or as part of a team to complete special projects that enhance the overall effectiveness of the JCPL. Attends team and other meetings, participates on committees and project teams, contributes to department planning and budgeting. Recommends expenditures and maintains project budgets. Communicates project management and data initiatives and achievements with JCPL staff.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
