Job Description:

Senior Projects Execution Manager

Seize the opportunity to make a personal impact as a Senior Project Execution Manager supporting the Joint Service Provider Enterprise Transport Management – Next-Gen (JSP ETM‑NG) program. At GDIT, you’ll contribute to complex programs and lead efforts that drive mission success.


MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation lead for funded projects and task orders.

  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and overall performance across customer‑based

  • Project Portfolios and program areas.

  • Lead technical, administrative, and operational activities, including contract and subcontractor oversight.

  • Supervise and guide technical and administrative staff; support hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development.

  • Develop and review project plans, proposals, schedules, estimates, reports, and program documentation.

  • Ensure quality assurance of all deliverables and coordinate development of products across teams and vendors.

  • Attend customer meetings and act as the primary liaison with senior leaders, vendors, partner agencies, and client stakeholders.

  • Support business development, including reviewing technical and cost proposals when required.

  • Conduct planning, provide workload recommendations, and contribute to strategic initiatives and future project planning.

  • Analyze project and program challenges and implement solutions related to scheduling, finance, technology, methodology, and risk.

  • Support all aspects of project and program execution—from initiation through completion—ensuring communication, collaboration, and alignment across all DISA and broader portfolio activities.

  • Prepare and present briefs, status reports, and technical reviews to leadership at all levels.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies, cloud platforms, cybersecurity requirements, and enterprise architecture.

  • Participate in special projects as needed.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Senior Projects Execution Manager must have:

  • Active Top-Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

  • 6+ years of related program or project management experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

  • Experience leading technical projects or Cloud Service Offerings, preferably with Microsoft 365, Azure, enterprise networks, PKI, zero‑trust architecture, and cloud operations.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer‑facing skills.

  • Experience managing and coordinating resources across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project; ability to work under pressure and balance competing priorities.

  • Knowledge of project/program management methodologies, Agile practices, and the software development lifecycle.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategies, mitigate risks, and support budget and performance management.

The likely salary range for this position is $161,500 - $218,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
