About the role
Location: Vilnius, Lithuania | Part-Time: 20 hours/week | Hybrid | Fixed-Term Contract – 6 Months

In this role, you'll support our Quantitative Research team within the European Economic and Statistical Research (ESR) department and gain hands-on experience at the intersection of AI/ML research and financial markets across the Nordic & Baltic region.

What You'll Do
Support AI/ML research initiatives focused on cash equities and equity derivatives markets.
Contribute to research projects through data extraction, data cleaning, and exploratory analysis.
Collaborate with teammates across different functions and regions.
Bring your ideas and curiosity to problem-solving and project work.
Develop your technical and professional skills through training and mentorship.
What We're Looking For
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, finance, economics, or a related field.
Proficiency in a programming or scripting language, ideally Python.
Some experience applying statistical, econometric, or machine learning methods - through coursework, thesis work, or a prior internship.
Experience handling large datasets.
A collaborative mindset with effective communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Nice to Have
Experience working with SQL.
Curiosity about capital markets and financial markets.
Interest in completing a master's thesis within the quantitative research field (thesis opportunities are available within our team).
