The Room Service Waiter
As a part time Room Service Waiter, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to guests who choose to dine in the comfort of their rooms. The Room Service Waiter plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders, creating a positive guest experience. The role will report directly to the Room Service Manager and will have a dotted reporting line to the Director of Food & Beverage at the location the position is based at.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, intuitive service to guests, handling room service orders, special requests and enquiries with professionalism and care
- Ensure accurate, timely and well-presented delivery of all room service orders
- Maintain expert knowledge of menus, daily specials and promotions to guide and inspire guest choices
- Supervise, mentor and train junior team members, supporting development and high service standards
- Carry out quality checks on orders, providing coaching and feedback to improve performance
- Support minibar operations and assist with inventory control and stock communication
- Work closely with kitchen, bar and hotel teams to ensure seamless service and communication

Salary: £12.71 p/h + service charge, plus benefits
This is a part-time position, with the opportunity to take on additional hours in line with business needs.
