Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join the adult community team at Clayponds Hospital or Ealing Day Treatment Centre. This locum role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality care and support to patients with communication and swallowing needs in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, treatment, and management of adult patients with communication and swallowing disorders
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Support patients across clinic and community settings as required
Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)
- HCPC registration (required)
- Experience working with adult caseloads in community or outpatient settings
- Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
