The Beauty House by Pulitzer Amsterdam is a refined beauty and wellbeing space located within Pulitzer Amsterdam. For the past two years, we have welcomed an international clientele seeking high-quality treatments in a calm and discreet environment.

We are currently looking for an experienced all-round Beauty Specialist to join our professional and passionate team. In this role, you naturally create a warm and welcoming atmosphere while delivering personalised treatments and attentive care to our guests.

Your main responsibilities include providing facials, massages and nail treatments within a five-star hotel environment, always with an eye for detail, discretion and guest comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality beauty treatments, including facials, massages, manicures and (medical) pedicures.
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience at a five-star level.
• Understand guests’ wellness goals and preferences through comprehensive consultations and offer knowledgeable treatment and product recommendations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both local and hotel guests.
• Confidently advise guests on suitable treatments, services and retail products.
• Work independently as well as part of a team.
• Invest in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest developments within the industry.

We are looking for a Beauty Specialist who has:

• A certified all-round beauty qualification. A medical pedicure qualification would be an advantage.
• Experience within luxury environments and high service-level standards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, listening and writing). Dutch is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A calm, yet spontaneous and attentive demeanour.
• The ability to carry out light administrative tasks.
