Position Details

Title:    

Assistant Professor, Information and Technology Management

Duties:

  • Teach three four-credit-hour courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels each semester in the cybersecurity field, such as Information Security Principles, Network Security, and Risk Management and Compliance.
  • Developing and grading examinations, assignments, and other coursework;
  • Maintaining accurate student attendance records, grades, and academic records;
  • Preparing comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts;
  • Evaluating and revising curricula, course content, and instructional methods as needed;
  • Holding regular office hours to provide academic support and guidance to students;
  • Facilitating classroom discussions and fostering an interactive learning environment;
  • Staying up to date with advancements in Information and Technology Management through research, professional development, and conferences;
  • Selecting and obtaining course materials, such as textbooks and other resources.
  • The faculty is also expected to be involved in publishing articles in high quality peer reviewed journals and engage in service and student involvement opportunities at the department, college and university levels.

Education:

U.S. Ph.D. from an AACSB- or ABET-accredited institution in Cybersecurity, Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field.

Experience:

6 months of experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant or closely related job occupation.

Other Requirements:

Candidates must demonstrate their teaching ability and mastery of the field.

Hours:           

• Number of hours per week: 40 hours per week

• Daily Work Schedule: Mon to Fri 8:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m.
