Certified CT Technologist - Full-Time - Days - Allen
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will operate CT equipment and apply your knowledge of Radiology Information Systems, PACSs, and digital data transfer processes, under the direction of a radiologist and the supervision of a department supervisor. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Join us. Union Role: Requires registration with the 1199 Job Security Fund.
Schedule:
Full-time, day flex: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM
Includes alternating weekends and holidays
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
New York State Radiology license in Radiography and maintain current New York State registration in Radiography
New York State certification for intravascular contrast media injection or obtain such certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and registration in Radiography (R)
ARRT certification and registration in Computed Tomography (CT) or current NMTCB (CT) certification, or, if not currently held, must satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements and obtain CT certification within six (6) months of hire or transfer.
Must maintain all required continuing education and renewal requirements for New York State and ARRT/NMTCB credentials.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Proficiency with EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, and modality-specific software
Preferred Criteria
Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic imaging
Previous relevant experience in CT
