Job Description Summary

Organization’s Summary Statement:

The Program Manager of Strategic Digital Learning Initiatives supports the development and implementation of digital learning initiatives that expand the reach and accessibility of business education across credit and non-credit programs. Working under the Director’s direction, this role supports the use of digital technologies, instructional design, and emerging tools to enhance the learning experience and enable scalable educational offerings. The position contributes to the planning and implementation of digital learning initiatives aligned with departmental priorities.


EXAMPLES OF WORK:
-Designing and developing digital learning experiences for both credit and non-credit programs as needed.
-Support the planning and implementation of digital learning initiatives prioritized by the Director in consultation with school leadership.
-Translate digital learning initiatives into practical plans and implementation pathways.
-Identify opportunities to expand digital learning offerings through new formats, tools, and platforms.
-Monitor trends in digital learning and educational technology to inform future initiatives.

Preferences::
-Experience experimenting with or prototyping digital learning tools, platforms, or emerging technologies in support of teaching and learning.
-Experience with front-end coding to prototype responsive interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python; ensure cross-browser compatibility and performance.
-Knowledge of APIs to connect learning tools and platforms.
-Experience leading initiatives from requirements through launch.
-Knowledge of the Canvas learning management system.
-Skill in supporting blended, flipped, online courses or experiential learning in a higher educational environment.
-Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Experience: Three (3) years of professional program management or higher education experience.

Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of business acumen to understand key business drivers, organizational communications, and data.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
Ability to develop and administer new policies and procedures.
Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
