The Opportunity
This position interfaces with International Affiliates with respect to the reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information. This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with affiliates and all levels of management. Position takes a lead role in managing department’s activities related to on-going projects and working with core project team members.
Major Responsibilities:
Review and process monthly and year-end financial statements from international affiliates.
Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance to international affiliates regarding US GAAP reporting.
Reconcile Currency Translation Adjustment account for assigned affiliates.
Act as liaison between international affiliates and Corporate. Interface with all operating divisions and Corporate support divisions such as International Tax and Global Treasury.
Process journal entries as needed for local currency adjustments and US Dollar override adjustments.
Analyze various Balance Sheet and P&L accounts to ensure integrity of international affiliates financial reporting.
Review local entity financial statements and process approvals from International Treasury, Corporate Tax and Corporate Legal departments.
Reconciliations for IC accounts (cap stock/inv in sub, IC non-op and IC BS, and IC exchange).
Participate in special projects because of organizational changes impacting international operations including coordinating journal entries with international affiliates for said changes.

Entity mergers
Entity liquidations
Entity restructurings
Participate in other special projects as needed.
New US GAAP pronouncements
Ad-hoc reporting
Required Requirements:
Experience with monthly and year-end closings.
Experience working in a multi-currency environment.
5-7 years of relevant experience.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a demanding, multi-task environment.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is essential.
Self-starter – accustomed to identifying problems and quickly addressing root causes.
Preferred Requirements:
Accounting Degree and CPA preferred.
Public accounting or internal audit experience preferred.
Hyperion Financial Management experience preferred.

The base pay for this position is
$86,700.00 – $173,300.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
