Responsibilities:
The Investment Banking Analyst position at Deutsche Bank enables you to develop essential skills and gain experience in a challenging and dynamic environment
You will be working on the execution of live transactions, assisting in the origination of projects, and supporting senior bankers in all aspects of M&A, equity, and debt capital markets transactions
You will conduct in-depth industry and company research to support transaction origination and execution efforts, assist in the preparation of pitch books, information memoranda, and other marketing materials, and perform detailed financial analysis including valuation, merger consequences, and leveraged buyout analysis
Teams usually include both Amsterdam- and London-based bankers, providing you with international investment banking exposure and opportunities to collaborate effectively with deal teams across different locations
Skills:
Relevant (full-time) experience in Investment Banking or Corporate Finance, with exposure to supporting the execution of M&A and capital markets transactions
Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills, conveying complex information in a clear, concise and professional manner, both verbally and in writing, while engaging effectively with colleagues and clients
Strong work ethic, proactivity and adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritise effectively and perform under tight deadlines
Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset, while also capable of working independently and taking ownership of deliverables
Solid understanding of the transaction lifecycle across key investment banking products
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with core investment banking databases (e.g. FactSet)
