Position: APAC FP&A Analyst

Direct report to: APAC FP&A Manager

Job Description:

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced and highly responsible FP&A Analyst for business in APAC to manage our company's financial planning, reporting, and analysis. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of the company's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting
    • Consolidate and analyze monthly financials from different regions and line of business
    • Complete month-end closing and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data.
    • Support on APAC financial and operational review decks and delivering data-driven strategic insights.
    • Conduct in-depth variance analysis, risk & opportunity assessment and track core operational and financial KPIs.
  • Forecasting, Budgeting and Analysis:
    • Support APAC monthly financial forecasting and provide analysis to support decision-making
    • Assist in developing annual budget and financial strategies.
  • Process Standardization:
    • Standardize regional operational and forecast review decks with unified metrics/KPIs
    • Assist on building standardized financial forecast and plan models to improve accuracy and transparency.
  • Ad hoc Analysis:
    • Interface with finance leaderships for ad hoc financial analysis and business reviews
  • Cross-departmental Collaboration:
    • Partner with cross-functional teams providing financial insight to support strategic and operational decisions. Build strong, trusted relationships with functions and regions, positioning finance as a value-adding partner to the business.
    • Collaborate with regions to understand their financial performance and assist with their financial reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in FP&A or related fields, with accounting experience preferred.
  • Skills Requirements:
    • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP systems.
    • Familiarity with financial reporting and budgeting processes.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Chinese, with effective cross-departmental communication skills.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to work under pressure, highly responsible and proactive.
