Summary
The role of the Aladdin Front Office Trade Support Manager is to lead and oversee end-to-end trade workflow management within BlackRock Aladdin, ensuring accurate execution, operational integrity, and controlled risk across the full trade lifecycle. This individual provides leadership across Front Office operations, leveraging Aladdin OMS, compliance, IBOR, and analytics capabilities to drive process optimization, exception reduction, and real-time position oversight. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on Aladdin expertise with team leadership, risk governance, and cross-functional influence across Trading, Operations, and external counterparties.
Responsibilities
- Lead oversight of end-to-end trade workflows within Aladdin, ensuring operational accuracy, risk mitigation, and timely issue resolution.
- Provide subject matter expertise across Aladdin Front Office tools including OMS, pre-trade compliance, live blotters, exposure dashboards, and IBOR views.
- Establish controls and monitoring processes to validate cash, positions, allocations, and trade lifecycle dependencies.
- Proactively identify operational risks and implement preventive measures to reduce trade breaks and downstream exceptions.
- Partner with Trading, Post-Trade Operations, Technology, and external counterparties to resolve complex trade and settlement issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across workflow efficiency, reporting, and operational governance.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting best practices in trade lifecycle management and Aladdin utilization.
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks leveraging Excel and SQL for intraday validation, reconciliation oversight, and portfolio support.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with BlackRock Aladdin Front Office functionality, including trade blotters, IBOR dashboards, matching tools, and cash ladders.
- Demonstrated experience leading operational oversight or managing front-office support functions.
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle processes, investment operations, and operational risk controls.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Proven ability to operate in fast-paced trading environments while maintaining governance and control standards.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills.
Location
This role is a US - remote, consultant will be required to go onsite for orientation.

The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity.
