System Engineer - FireX

Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to join our team at Airbus India Private Limited. This role will involve contributing to the design, development, and validation of sophisticated fire protection systems for aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.

Job Responsibilities**

The scope would be writing specification, focal point for supplier RFP, supplier management, Test rig follow-up and analysis from test data, as well as supporting R&T activities.

The candidate is expected to take ownership of the equipment/sub-system development V Cycle. Get involved in specification creation and interact with equipment suppliers for the development . Key activities are as follows:

* Perform system-level design, analysis, and integration for aircraft fire protection systems (FireX).
* Develop and review system requirements, specifications, and design documents in accordance with aerospace standards.
* Conduct system verification and validation activities, including test plan definition, execution, and report generation.
* Participate in system architecture definition and trade-off studies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and safety engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.
* Support problem investigations, root cause analysis, and resolution for in-service issues.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools.
* Interface with suppliers and customers on technical matters.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* 3-7 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably within the aerospace industry.
* Strong understanding of aircraft systems, particularly fire protection systems (FireX).

* Knowledge of DO160
* Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS)
* Experience with verification and validation methodologies and tools.

* Experience in supplier steering/management (added advantage)
* Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations (e.g., ARP4754A, CS-25).
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multicultural environment.

* Knowledge on tools like Dymola, Matlab, Fluent, Ansys (Added advantage)

* Awareness of Aircraft certification process
