Overview

You will play a key role in building and scaling AI-powered platforms within Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank Technology organization. You’ll work across infrastructure, backend systems, and AI frameworks to enable cutting-edge AI capabilities in production environments. This is an opportunity to operate across the full technology stack while helping to shape how AI systems are engineered, deployed, and optimized at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build scalable systems that support AI-driven applications and workflows
• Integrate and optimize AI frameworks and tools within enterprise environments
• Develop and maintain deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and runtime environments
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and improve efficiency across AI workflows
• Analyze and modernize legacy systems using AI-driven approaches
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable platform solutions

How You’ll Lead

• Work closely with platform, infrastructure, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Partner with stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture
• Provide leadership in solving complex engineering challenges across multiple domains

Skills You’ll Need

• Strong experience with backend development (Python, Java, or similar languages)
• Experience with cloud platforms or distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with APIs, system integration, and deployment pipelines
• Understanding of AI/ML systems or frameworks in production environments
• Strong troubleshooting and systems engineering skills

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary  office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $185,000.  Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.  Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
