The opportunity
We’re looking for a Claims Relationship Manager to join the Elders Insurance team. In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive and promote the success of the Elders Insurance and QBE Claims Management strategy. You will also act as a key escalation and resolution point for claims disputes, working collaboratively with teams to provide timely and effective solutions

Your new role
A day in the role may look a bit like this:
- Act as the primary point of contact for claims matters related to Elders Insurance agency-managed claims
- Provide expert claims support and coaching to agency staff, ensuring they understand and effectively apply claims processes and strategies.
- Maintain excellent client relationships with the insured, agents, service providers, and the broader community
- Leverage strong relationship management skills to support the Claims strategy and drive the achievement of business targets and ensure in lines with all legislation, industry codes, and company policies
- Review and analyse claims trends, providing insights and feedback to claims teams/underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions
- Deliver proactive advice, guidance, and education programs to Elders agents and internal stakeholders to drive the adoption of Elders Insurance claim strategies. Foster collaboration and continuous improvement with the Claims Service Centre
- Some travel will be required for this position including interstate
About you
To be successful in this role you will have
- Proven experience in property or motor claims
- Catastrophe event claims experience advantageous
- An understanding of, and demonstrable application of, the General Insurance Code of Practice
- Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
- Collaborative work with Claims, Business, and Customer groups, along with a working knowledge of the insurance process from application to claims resolution.
- You possess experience with distribution channels, which is essential for effective claims management and resolution.
