Work on NYP’s own Computerized Maintenance Management System (CCMS)  at our four million square feet of state-of-the-art infrastructure as a Coordinator. 

Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Coordinator

In role the CMMS Coordinator maintains CMMS system and develops reports for Facilities Operations Department. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance (troubleshooting) activities associated with utilization of the CMMS software. You’ll instruct staff in the general use of CMMS software and applications as well as keeps current with new CMMS developments within the CMMS industry. You’ll take an active role in periodic upgrades, continued development and enhancement of the CMMS for monitoring and reporting departmental activities. You’ll develop and continuously update the inventory of all present and newly acquired equipment and compile information from engineering supervisory and management staff to develop automatic scheduling of preventive maintenance work orders, corrective maintenance work orders and work orders detaining routine daily, weekly and monthly equipment rounds. You will provide distribution of all work orders to respective leaders and produces monthly Quality Assurance status reports of all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders issued.

This full time day position located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Required Criteria

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 2 years experience coordinating and maintaining asset inventory utilizing a computerized maintenance management system in a healthcare facility or related business environment

  • Experience in data analysis in the facilities maintenance program, specifically in asset management, equipment failure analysis and/or spare part optimization.

Preferred Criteria

  • Experience scheduling work orders utilizing CMMS
