About Role
The Senior Manager, Corporate Services, OU Buying NAM part of the Global Indirect Procurement organization, will be responsible for all category management and sourcing activities for the Corporate Services category within NAM region. This role will report to the Corporate Services OU NAM and LatAm lead
In this role you will…
… be responsible for the adaptation and implementation of global category strategies within your area of spend, which will form the strategic foundation and direction of all spend sourcing strategy in the respective Operating Units. As such, this role will need to work closely with the category team to ensure the global strategy accounts for OU requirements while leveraging the global view and opportunities.
Role Responsibilities
Strategy and execution
Manage a spend in ~£35m, Corporate Services spend pools (consulting, HR services, financial services, legal services, fleet etc), OU NAM categories
Create comprehensive sourcing strategies for category in scope of responsibility, operating with a truly global and strategic mindset and in close collaboration with the OU
Have a clear understanding of how OU requirements are built into the strategies
Be the expert in the spend categories especially for the respective OU
Ensure strategies are implemeted holisitically and true to its principles in the OU
Benefit delivery
Deliver benefits identified in strategies through effective and collaborative strategy execution with the OUs, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation
Ensure financial benefits are managed in accordance with the Procurement Plan and Savings Methodology approach, ensuring operating unit and Finance agreement to financial value delivered and transparency on treatment of benefits in the budgeting process
Business partnering & stakeholder management in Haleon
Influence key OU stakeholders and business partners to support strategy development, endorse recommended strategies, support execution and agree how benefit delivery will be budgeted
External supplier relationships
Build strategic relationships with key suppliers locally and lead processes to ensure value is driven from these relationships.
Ensure global and regional considerations are accounted for in supplier relationships
Lead all contract planning, negotiation, execution, interpretation and maintenance with global suppliers that will allow Haleon to maximize opportunity
Develop and Implement Operational excellence strategies and plans for key suppliers to drive improvements against KPIs.
Supply chain & risk management
Transform the end to end spend to release value and make Haleon more responsive to business and customer needs – for example in cost control, complexity reduction, simplification, best practice procurement and use of KPIs
Ensure suppliers are managed against their third-party risks effectively
Basic Skills (Essential):
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing or related field
7+ years of operational procurement experience across multiple categories
Strong expertise in sourcing, quotation analysis, contract negotiation, and supplier management
Proven category management experience including strategy development and implementation
Strong knowledge of finance (cost benchmarking, supplier audits) and legal/contracting principles
Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects using structured project management approaches
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
Preferred Skills:
Master’s degree in Procurement, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing or related field
Experience working in matrix/global organizations
Deep understanding of supplier relationship models and external market dynamics
Strong stakeholder management with proven ability to build collaborative relationships
Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to drive change across teams
Experience in procurement risk management
Strong networking capability across cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop others
