Job Description

CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™. Built for pioneers by pioneers, CoreWeave delivers a platform of technology, tools, and teams that enables innovators to build and scale AI with confidence. Trusted by leading AI labs, startups, and global enterprises, CoreWeave combines superior infrastructure performance with deep technical expertise to accelerate breakthroughs and turn compute into capability. Founded in 2017, CoreWeave became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: CRWV) in March 2025. Learn more at www.coreweave.com.

About the role:

CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™ — the infrastructure that the world's leading AI labs, researchers, and enterprises depend on. The Build, Test, and Deploy team owns the platform, services, and systems that power software integration and delivery across CoreWeave's AI cloud: 40+ data centers, each running a large number of application instances, all needing to be deployed, updated, and managed reliably and at pace.

This is a high-leverage engineering role. You won't be configuring systems and tools. You'll be designing and building the integration and delivery platform itself. Our team operates at the intersection of distributed systems engineering, developer experience, and release infrastructure. The work you do will directly shape how fast and safely every engineering team at CoreWeave ships software.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build the core services and frameworks behind our internal integration and delivery platform — CI infrastructure, build and testing services, deployment orchestration and automation.
  • Own the technical direction for key platform subsystems. Drive architectural decisions, shape the roadmap, and lead multi-quarter initiatives from design through production.
  • Build for real scale. Our platform must reliably orchestrate deployment lifecycles for thousands of application instances across data centers with varying infrastructure profiles.
  • Lead by example on engineering quality. Establish patterns, own design reviews, and actively mentor junior engineers on the team.
  • Instrument, measure, and improve system health using metrics like build success rate, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and MTTR, and close the loop by fixing systemic bottlenecks.
  • Partner closely with infrastructure, security, and product engineering teams to design and implement integration and delivery patterns that are fast, safe, and compliant at scale.
  • Lead post-mortems and continuous improvement cycles that harden our platform against failure modes and reduce operational burden for engineering teams.
  • Be forward-looking to always stay ahead of the company's rapid growth. Design and implement the next-generation AI-native and agentic workflows and developer infrastructure.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful time spent building production platforms, developer tooling, or delivery infrastructure.
  • Experience with progressive delivery patterns, such as canary and blue/green deployments, feature flag infrastructure, error budget management, or traffic shaping.
  • Strong systems design skills. You approach build, test, and deploy as a software engineering problem, not a configuration exercise. You can design distributed services, background workers, and event-driven systems.
  • Proficiency in Go, Python, or similar languages with production experience shipping services in cloud-native environments.
  • Deep familiarity with Kubernetes. You understand how applications are packaged, scheduled, and managed at the cluster level, and you can design platform services that integrate at that layer.
  • Proven track record of setting technical direction, making sound architectural trade-offs, and driving decisions that hold up as systems scale.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator. You can align stakeholders, influence without authority, and clearly communicate complex trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and consistently raising the technical quality bar of the teams you work on.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building or extending CI infrastructure at scale, using tools like GitHub Actions, Buildkite, Bazel, or similar build systems.
  • Experience building test infrastructure, such as test execution platforms, and hermetic test environments.
  • Prior work at companies with large, complex multi-datacenter or multi-region deployment footprints.
  • Familiarity with observability tooling and how delivery metrics connect to production reliability outcomes.
  • Experience advancing AI-native and agentic infrastructure and incorporating these capabilities directly in workflows.

The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $139,000 to 220,000 and $160,000 to $263,000, accordingly.
