1. Japan Integration, Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Lead talent acquisition integration initiatives for Japan, ensuring alignment with regional and global TA standards.
- Act as the primary TA partner to Japan business stakeholders, building trusted relationships with senior leadership, hiring managers, and HRBPs.
- Manage vendor relationships, performance, and compliance within Japan; oversee Preferred Vendor List (PSL) adherence, contract governance, and vendor optimization.
- Navigate complex stakeholder landscapes to ensure seamless delivery and cultural alignment.
2. APAC TA Project Lead & Support — Policy, Process & Branding
- Lead and support APAC-wide TA projects, including policy harmonization, process standardization, and employer branding initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement of recruitment workflows to enhance candidate experience, efficiency, and compliance across markets.
- Partner with global TA leadership to localize and implement best practices, ensuring consistency while respecting market nuances.
- Champion employer branding across APAC to strengthen talent attraction and market positioning.
3. Asia Early Talent Programs (ELP, FLP) & China Campus Recruitment
- Design, execute, and oversee Asia Early Talent Programs, including Early Leadership Programs (ELP) and Future Leadership Programs (FLP).
- Lead China Campus recruitment strategy and execution, building strong university partnerships and pipelining top graduate talent.
- Develop program frameworks, engagement strategies, and retention pathways for early-career talent across the region.
- Collaborate with business leaders and L&D to ensure early talent programs align with succession planning and workforce strategy.
4. TA Technology & Business Intelligence
- Serve as the regional subject matter expert for TA technology platforms (ATS, CRM, sourcing tools, and analytics dashboards).
- Drive adoption, optimization, and troubleshooting of TA systems across APAC markets.
- Develop and maintain TA Business Intelligence (BI) reporting, providing actionable insights on hiring metrics, pipeline health, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness to inform decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI to enhance recruitment efficiency.
5. APAC Cost Tracking & Payment Process Governance
- Oversee TA cost tracking, budget governance, and payment processes across Japan, China, Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan (HMT), Thailand, Vietnam, and Australia.
- Ensure accurate tracking of agency spend, job board investments, vendor invoices, and recruitment-related expenses.
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Compliance to maintain audit-ready documentation and adherence to procurement policies.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality of hire and service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 5 years in a multinational company environment handling APAC markets
- Regional Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing TA operations or stakeholder relationships in Japan; familiarity with China, HMT, Southeast Asia, and Australia markets is highly preferred.
- Program Management: Proven track record leading cross-border projects, early talent programs, and campus recruitment at scale.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Strong negotiation, influence, and relationship management skills; experience with PSL governance and vendor compliance.
- Technology & Data: Hands-on experience with ATS/HRIS platforms and TA analytics; ability to translate data into strategic insights.
- Financial Acumen: Experience managing recruitment budgets, cost tracking, and payment processes in a multinational environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional Asian language skills (e.g., Japanese, Mandarin) are a strong advantage.
- Proficiency with ATS/CRM platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Ariba ) and recruitment analytics tools
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
