About the Role
As the Director of Brand & Product Marketing you are responsible for how the market perceives us, how our products are positioned, and how our story comes to life across every physical and digital touchpoint.You will lead a high-output team of Product Marketers, Creatives, Content Strategists, and Field Marketing specialists. This is a unique "hybrid" leadership role that requires both the analytical rigor of a PMM and the aesthetic eye of a Creative Director. You will ensure that every pitch deck, event booth, and video not only looks world-class but is rooted in a winning competitive strategy.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Holistic Narrative Ownership: Architect the overarching Uber Freight "category story" and ensure it is applied consistently across the entire portfolio.
- Creative & Content Direction: Lead the internal Creative and Content teams to produce high-fidelity assets (video, design, thought leadership) that elevate the brand.
- Portfolio GTM & Positioning: Define ICPs, personas, and value propositions that differentiate Uber Freight in a crowded logistics landscape.
- Field & Event Strategy: Own the "experiential" brand; webinars, customer meetings, and industry events ensuring we show up with excellence and impact.
- Sales Enablement & Asset Excellence: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of sales collateral to ensure the field has the best tools to win.
- Competitive Intelligence: Turn market shifts and competitor moves into actionable talk tracks and "battlecards" for the sales and SDR teams.
Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience spanning Product Marketing and Brand/Creative management.
- Proven ability to build a narrative from scratch and see it through to a 40-foot trade show booth or a 2-minute brand film.
- Experience managing the "machinery" of marketing (collateral, creative agency workflows, and event logistics).
- Experience managing both "left-brain" PMMs and "right-brain" Creatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in logistics, freight, or supply chain technology
- Strong executive communication, structured thinking, and stakeholder influence
- Experience supporting enterprise and mid-market sales motions
- Experience operating within a multi-product or platform portfolio
- Familiarity with funnel performance, win-loss analysis, and revenue metrics
- Experience building scalable messaging and enablement governance

US based employees may also be eligible for a performance or sales incentive bonus program, participation in Uber Freight equity awards, and other types of compensation depending upon the role.
Illinois: The salary range for this role is $161,550 to $205,064 a year
