Infrastructure Engineering Lead Analyst   - Data Engineering
The Lead Analyst, working with the ETOC AIOps engineering team for Operational Insights, will develop solutions that improve Evernorth’s awareness of service impacting issues across the enterprise. The role will primarily focus on developing and maintaining end user dashboards, tooling, and data engineering solutions.

The role ensures that business requirements are addressed through the development and support of Grafana-based dashboard solutions, and maintenance of a distributed Grafana platform via CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC). The role will be responsible for maintaining uptime and reliability of the Grafana platform, not limited to diagnosing, fixing, and general upgrade tasks, escalating more complex issues as needed.

< >Platform Support: Managing Grafana services, stability, standard SOP’s for upgrading, user onboarding, and configuration changes.Dashboard Development: Building and maintaining data pipelines to ensure the smooth flow of data from various sources to the data warehouse. 

< >Data Cleaning and Transformation: Cleaning and transforming raw data into a usable format for dashboarding and reporting.ETL Processes: Troubleshooting and triaging ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support frontend reporting.Data Quality Assurance: Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data by performing regular data quality checks.Collaboration: Working closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.Documentation: Documenting data processes, workflows, and any changes made to the platform infrastructure.Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitoring platform services and systems for any issues and troubleshooting them as needed.Learning and Development: Continuously learning new tools, technologies, and best practices in monitoring and application telemetry.Participation in Team: Attends required team standups and team meetings.

Education:

< >Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or 5+ years of professional experience in the field. 

Experience:

< >5-8 years of experience in the Infrastructure Engineering field required5+ years of experience supporting distributed systems in a production environment3 years of Python development experience in a professional setting (5 years if not from a computer science or similar degree)3 years of Database query development in a professional setting (5 years if not from a computer science or similar degree) 

Technical Skills:

< >DevOps Expertise: Proficient understanding of IaC deployments via Ansible/Terraform, with experience developing new capabilities to support infrastructure.BI Tooling Development: Minimum of three years’ professional experience developing end-user dashboard tooling in any of the following: Grafana/Tableau/MS Power BiPython Development Expertise: Minimum of three years’ professional experience in Python programming.Database Query Development: Over three years of hands-on experience creating queries across databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, Splunk, and Dynatrace.Data Quality Improvement: Skilled at identifying data irregularities and implementing corrective actions to enhance quality and reliability.Communication Skills: Demonstrates effective communication with team members and stakeholders, ensuring clear articulation of requirements.Innovative Thinking: Possesses a creative mindset and the capability to devise innovative solutions.Adaptability and Independence: Adapts well within a dynamic work environment, learns rapidly, delivers solutions, and independently decomposes work into actionable tasks with minimal guidance.Time Management: Prioritizes responsibilities efficiently and consistently meets established timelines and deadlines.Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibits advanced problem-solving abilities and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams to address complex challenges.
